I first sought the advice on the investment of my savings with another wealth management company in 2011. I wished to counter the erosion of my capital arising from inflation, taxes and poor returns from the banks where my savings were invested. I invested 110,000 UK pounds in a number of funds and despite my following the recommendations of a series of de Vere consultants, the value of my investment had fallen to £81000. I was contacted by Miles MacDonald, a PCC consultant who had clearly read my file and who listened patiently as I related the sorry tale of my recent investment experiences. We discussed my current financial position and shortly afterwards I received a detailed and accurate summary of what we had discussed. He provided well reasoned recommendations on what actions I now needed to take and he followed this with a series of phone calls clarifying my questions. He has maintained this regular communication including recommendations on a number of promising investment opportunities which I have now followed. I have been impressed by Miles’ tenacity and his patience with my limited financial expertise. He has restored my confidence in my present investments.
